OTTAWA, ON —Todd Doherty, Member of Parliament for Cariboo – Prince George released the following statement following his re-appointment as Conservative Shadow Minister for Fisheries,Oceans and the Canadian Coast Guard, in addition to his previous role as critic for Asia-PacificGateway that was held from 2015-2016.
“I am honoured to once again have the opportunity to not only represent the constituents ofCariboo – Prince George, but to continue serving as the Shadow Minister for Fisheries, Oceans and the Canadian Coast Guard, and to resume responsibility for the Asia-Pacific Gateway file.
“Justin Trudeau claims the best of intentions, but his policies hurt the very people they are supposed to help. As we prepare for a busy fall session, I am confident that our team will share our positive Conservative vision while standing up to Liberal overspending and higher costs passed onto businesses, families and individuals.
