Talking about PTSD with Members of Parliament

Speaking with Glean Motz, MP

Great to speak with MP Glen Motz on February the 1st about the importance of a national framework on Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. As a former police officer for 35 years, Glen understands that we can and should be doing more for our warriors who run towards danger, when most would head in the opposite direction. Thank you for your support, Glen, and let’s get Bill C-211 passed!

Speaking with Leader Erin O’Toole, MP

Almost a year ago, I reached out to Erin O’Toole to talk about Bill C-211, and ask him if he would be willing to offer his support. As a Captain in the Royal Canadian Air Force, co-founder of the True Patriot Love Foundation and former Minister of Veterans Affairs, Erin shared his experiences with me and indicated that he would help in any way he could. I am very fortunate to have the support of the Conservative Party of Canada – Parti conservateur du Canada Caucus, and I look forward to MP’s on all sides of the House of Commons rising to support a national framework on Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder on February 9th.

Speaking with Leader Rona Ambrose

I’ve had the opportunity over the last few days to speak with a number of my Conservative Party of Canada – Parti conservateur du Canada colleagues about Bill C-211, which calls for a national framework on Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Today, our leader Rona Ambrose joined me in encouraging all Members of Parliament to stand with our warriors in their fight against PTSD, and vote for Bill C-211 on February 9th.

Speaking with John Brassard, MP

I had the opportunity to speak with John Brassard about PTSD and Bill C-211 in Quebec City today, which will be debated in the House of Commons on February 9th. We look forward to standing up for our men and women in uniform, and for those who work in a profession that regularly exposes them to graphic scenes that anyone would find disturbing. I ask this of my Liberal and NDP colleagues, can we count on your support to stand in solidarity with our warriors on February 9th?
